AK INBRE鈥檚 primary aim is to expand the multi-disciplinary network to support biomedical and health research expertise, infrastructure and training capacity. Requests must meet one of the goals of AK INBRE: to increase capacity in Alaska for biomedical and health research, including One Health and basic biomedical research themes.

This award is intended for one-time expenditures, such as equipment, or one-time events and does not duplicate existing INBRE funding mechanisms. Prior to award, requests will be sent to the National Institutes for Health for approval.

Submission deadline is Nov. 7, 2025, at 5 p.m. AKT
