AK INBRE seeks Undergraduate Research Assistantship applications

Alaska INBRE is accepting applications for the Spring 2026 Undergraduate Research Assistantship Scholar Award.

The Alaska IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence is supported by a grant from the National Institutes of Health. The primary objective of the Undergraduate Research Assistantship Scholar initiative is to support undergraduate students engaged in One Health science research with mentorship from researchers across the AK INBRE network. 

The application for URA Scholar support includes a brief description of the proposed research that has been developed with the support of a mentor and the career goals of the applicant. Students funded through this program will gain valuable experience in designing, conducting, and presenting research. This URA opportunity is for students enrolled at I岣穒sa摹vik College, UAS, UAA or UAF.
