Moore Hall
Terris Moore Hall opened in 1966 and was renovated in 2023. Moore Hall is an eight-story coed building and the westernmost building of the MBS Complex with a housing capacity of up to 320 students. Moore Hall is a dynamic community that houses both first-year and returning students. Bathrooms are gender-neutral with private toilets and shower rooms.

Bartlett Hall
Bob Bartlett Hall opened in 1969 and was renovated in 2023. Bartlett Hall is an eight-story coed building and the center of the MBS Complex with a housing capacity of up to 320 students. With a lounge on every floor and a large open kitchen in the main lobby, this first-year community is a lively hub of activity. Bathrooms are gender-neutral with private toilets and shower rooms.

Eileen’s House
Opened in 1997, the Eileen Panigeo MacLean House has a men’s building and a women’s building and can house up to 20 students. Two apartments house graduate students or families. This close-knit and quiet community is perfect for rural and Alaska Native students who want a smaller hall experience but to still be connected to the larger campus community.

Lathrop Hall
Austin E. Lathrop Hall opened in 1962. This five-story building has a capacity for up to 130 students in two-person rooms. Lathrop is near the Student Recreation Center, the Patty Ice Area, and the Wood Center, making it an ideal location for students interested in sports or outdoor activities and campus events. Each floor has a gendered bathroom. Lathrop Hall is coed-by room with gender neutral options available.

Skarland Hall
Ivar Skarland Hall opened in 1964 and was renovated in 2011 and 2019. Skarland is part of the MBS Complex, a prime location where you can get to everything with a short walk or shuttle ride. The four-story building houses over 100 residents in single and double-occupancy rooms.

Wickersham Hall
James Wickersham Hall opened in 1957 and was renovated in 2022. Wickersham Hall is a three-story building with a capacity for 97 students in a mix of private and suite-style rooms. The suite-style rooms are two double (two-person) rooms joined by a small sitting room and half-bathroom. Adjacent to the Wood Center and the Gruening building, Wickersham Hall is a great choice for students who want to live close to the heart of campus.

Cutler Apartment
Howard Cutler Apartments is a small set of apartments nestled in the woods. The four-person apartments have two shared (two-person) bedrooms with a kitchen, living room and bathroom. Cutler Apartments are quiet enough to complete your studies, yet close enough to the MBS Complex to join in all the activities Residence Life has to offer.

Enhance your undergraduate experience by joining a vibrant community and living on campus. From classic college dormitories to suites and apartments, campus housing offers a wide range of options to fit any student’s needs.
To be eligible for on-campus housing, all graduate degree students need to take 9 or more credits to live on campus. All other students are required to enroll in a minimum of 12 credits per semester and be admitted to a degree program. All first-year undergraduate degree students taking 12 credits or more are required to live on campus. Cutler apartments are available to students in at least their second year of residency or older than 21 years old.
