Things to Remember

 

Prior To Arrival

  • Bring a valid, acceptable photo ID on exam day. Acceptable IDs include: Driver鈥檚 license, State-issued photo ID, Passport, College or university ID
  • Use the restroom and finish any food before entering the exam room.
  • If you have testing accommodations, please ensure they are approved and updated for the current semester. For questions about accommodations, you can contact Disability Services.

Checking In

  • Present a photo ID.
  • Store personal items in a locker. Space is limited鈥攑lease bring only essential items.
  • Silence or turn off your cellphone!
  • You will be directed where to sit in the exam room. Staff will assign seating for computer-based exams as needed.

 


Rules and Procedures

  • We support students by providing a quiet space to take their proctored exams.
  • Only students taking an exam are allowed in the Exam Room. Children must not be left unattended in or near the Testing Services area.
  • We do not allow cell phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches or any personal electronic devices while a student takes an exam.
  • Students are responsible for tracking their own exam time. Testing Services records the time used if a limit is set, but students will not be warned if they exceed it.
  • Use of personal pencils, pens, and calculators is permitted upon staff approval; supplies are available if needed.
  • Students should limit bringing additional belongings into the exam center. There are lockers available if needed, but they are small. 
  • Food is not allowed inside the exam room. Beverages with lids are okay.
  • We immediately notify the instructor if academic dishonesty is suspected.
